All Things Work Together — Trusting on the Days You Cannot Understand

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) Often quoted, often misused. It does not say "all things are good" — Scripture never denies evil is evil. It says they "work together": ingredients bitter on their own can be woven, in God's hands, into a larger design. Joseph was sold, imprisoned, forgotten — each event, alone, plainly bad. Years later he said: "God meant it for good, to keep many people alive." Flour, raw egg and cocoa are hard to swallow separately; baked together they are cake. Mark the promise's scope: "for good to those who love God" — and the next verse defines the good: "conformed to the image of His Son." God's chief gift to you is not smooth circumstances but Christ-likeness. If something today refuses to make sense, you need not rush to explain it. You may not understand the process — yet you can trust the Weaver. Prayer: Father, I cannot read this chapter of my life, but I know You are weaving. I choose to trust Your hands — and through it, make me more like Christ. Amen.
