How to read any denomination quickly

You do not need to memorise the names. Six questions place almost any tradition:

  1. Authority: Scripture alone, or Scripture with tradition?
  2. Salvation: chosen by God, or freely accepted or refused?
  3. Baptism: are infants baptised? Pouring or full immersion?
  4. Communion: truly the body of Christ, or a memorial?
  5. Who decides: bishops, elders, or the whole congregation?
  6. Spiritual gifts: do tongues and healing continue today?
