Look for: 1) Sound doctrine — the Bible as the final authority, and Jesus Christ confessed as the Son of God and only Saviour. 2) Faithful preaching — sermons that explain and apply Scripture rather than only success or prosperity themes. 3) Genuine fellowship — people who love, welcome and care for one another, with small groups you can join. 4) The right language — use the church directory on this site to filter churches by country, city and language; many also offer online services. Visit a few Sunday services before committing. Be cautious of groups that tightly control members' lives or claim that salvation exists only inside their organisation.
